CP2077: Phantom Liberty – How to Unlock Vehicle Contract Missions
In order to unlock access to Vehicle Contract missions, which is key to unlocking new vehicles for purchase with the Autofixer in Phantom Liberty, you must first complete the “Push it to the Limit” Side Job:
1. Starting the Push it to the Limit Side Job
- Begin by completing the first two main missions of the Phantom Liberty DLC: Hole in the Sky and Spider and the Fly.
- After these missions, you’ll receive a call from Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes, the Autofixer of Dogtown. He’s got a car lined up for you to deliver. Finish your conversation with him to obtain the “Push it to the Limit” side job.
- If you happen to miss the call or don’t receive it, head to the blue steering wheel marker on your map, located south of the Golden Pacific fast travel point. You’ll find the car parked on the side of the street, just waiting to be stolen!
2. Completing Push it to the Limit
To finish the Push it to the Limit Side Job:
- Head to the blue steering wheel marker on your map and deal with any nearby enemies before hopping into the vehicle.
- As soon as you’re in the car, you’ll receive another call from Reyes, who will send you the coordinates for the drop-off point.
- Your objective is to follow the GPS on your map to reach the drop-off point while evading or eliminating any pursuers hot on your tail. This mission is the perfect opportunity to test out the thrilling new vehicular combat system introduced with patch 2.0!
Once you’ve delivered the car to the drop-off spot, chat with Muamar. After a short conversation, he’ll thank you and invite you to take on more Vehicle Contract missions, completing the ‘Push it to the Limit’ Side Job and unlocking those repeatable Vehicle Contracts.
How to Complete Vehicle Contracts and Unlock New Purchasable Vehicles
After finishing Push it to the Limit, you’ll start spotting Vehicle Contracts across Dogtown as you explore the district. Just like in the Side Job, your task is to steal and deliver a car to a specific location.
Each Vehicle Contract mission is titled “Just Another Story,” and you’ll see a blue steering wheel marker on your map when you’re near the target vehicle. Starting these missions is a breeze—reach the location, deal with the enemies guarding the car, and hop in. Drive to the spot marked on your GPS while losing any tail you might pick up along the way.
Vehicle Contract Mission Rewards
Completing Vehicle Contracts in Phantom Liberty comes with a host of rewards:
- Unlocks new and rare vehicles for purchase through the Autofixer netpage terminals scattered throughout the city. These terminals are marked by a small car icon on the minimap.
- Each completed contract earns you a stacking discount that can be applied toward your vehicle purchases. Keep in mind that this discount resets once you make a purchase, so you’ll want to complete more contracts to continue saving big!
- At the end of each “Just Another Story” mission, you’ll also gain access to a cache filled with supplies, including:
- Autofixer’s Discount Shards
- Rare Weapons and Attachments
- Money Shards
- Item Components
Additionally, completing the delivery within the time limit and achieving any optional objectives will also grant you a random selection of Tier 5 rewards from the same cache.
