Ptaris, the Githyanki enemy who drops the Unflinching Protector Amulet in Baldur's Gate 3, Act 3.

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Unflinching Protector Amulet is a drop from Ptaris, a Githyanki located in the basement of the Society of Brilliance Lodge in the Lower City during Act 3. However, it’s crucial to note that you can encounter Ptaris only if you’ve made specific choices in a particular quest during Act 2.

To encounter Ptaris in The Lodge, you must have completed the ‘Steal a Githyanki Egg’ quest and decided to hand over the pilfered egg to Lady Esther. As it happens, Ptaris is the Githyanki hatched from that very egg. Without delving into spoilers, his presence in Act 3 is tied to the consequences of your choices.

Successfully defeating Ptaris in combat allows you to loot the Unflinching Protector Amulet from his body.
